"Speaking with the hands - How your body shapes communication"

When we speak, we not only use our voice but our whole body. The workshop offers the possibility to explore the role of gestures and other bodily movements in communication and shows how and why our body shapes communication. Through video analyses in combination with exercises for the voice and the body, the workshop sharpens the participants observation for these aspects and provides the basis for a better understanding of communication. Workshop content: Why and how do we „speak“ with our hands? How do I use my body while speaking? How do I act in talks, lectures, and conversations?

Online ChIP Seq Analysis Course

We want to enable you to analyse your ChIP-Seq (and CUT&Tag and ATAC-Seq) data on your own. This course guides you step by step from fastq files to the final figures. It covers everything from quality control to alignments to count matrix generation and differential analysis. No previous knowledge of R or Unix is necessary as we have introduction videos and exercises for both. The course was created to fit into your busy schedules and consists of short explanatory videos, questions and exercises that you can do whenever and where ever you have time. Please block about 1-2 h per week for the course. After each module, a live Q&A (~1h) will allow you to ask all your questions and discuss exercises. The first module is going to start on the 5th of October, 2022. (As it is a combination of videos, exercises and live Q&A, it is no problem at all if you are on holidays or conferences in between ;))
